If your passport has been collecting dust, American Airlines is here to help with this week’s announcement of exciting new flights to 4 sunny international destinations.

Nobody likes the headache of going through customs, but is there a better feeling than getting some fresh ink in your passport book?

Okay, I can think of a few, but we’ll keep this PG…

American is not only launching new flights internationally but also adding some notable new domestic flights and adding extra daily services to already popular routes such as Cabo, Montego Bay, and Cancun.

According to American Airlines’ latest press release, the latest 4 destinations will total 17 new escapes in 2025 for one of the U.S. travelers’ favorite airlines.

The following 4 new international routes will depart from Chicago (ORD) this winter:

Guatemala City, Guatemala

Anyone flying to Guatemala City with the idea of making a vacation out of it—good luck.

Guatemala’s capital city is best served as a gateway to neighboring Honduras’ San Pedro Sula and Belize City.

I’ve flown into Guatemala City and was supposed to stay a couple of days before venturing into the timeless town of Antigua, but my Uber driver practically begged me not to stay in the big city as he feared I’d be robbed.

His plea seemed genuine, but honestly, I have no idea if this was a ploy to switch my route to Antigua for more money or perhaps he was hoping I’d hire him to guide me around to feel more secure.

According to numerous travel forums, Guatemala does have a sketchy reputation, but the reality is there are far more safe and charming destinations in the country, such as the aforementioned Antigua (which will always hold a special place in my heart), tranquil Lake Atitlan, and the portal to the past, Tikal, an ancient Mayan city, among others.

American’s new route from ORD will launch November 6th with 3 weekly flights.

San Jose, Costa Rica

Speaking of springboard cities, Costa Rica’s capital is another, especially with a fairly recent security alert issued regarding San Jose’s airport.

For what it’s worth, American also increased routes to Costa Rica’s alternative airport in Liberia, which holds a safer reputation as the more glamorous side of the country with resort-laden beach towns.

Believe it or not, Costa Rica has actually seen a dip in tourism, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less enjoyable. In fact, one could argue it just means less crowds at the usual hotspots — not San Jose.

Whether you’re ready to hit the beach, explore the lush vegetation in hopes of wildlife sightings, or soak in a waterfall, it’s nearly impossible to have a bad time in such a diverse destination that suits all types of travelers, from solo trippers to digital nomads to romantic couples retreats.

American’s new route to SJO will launch with daily service starting November 2nd, providing easy access by car or bus to nearby destinations like Poás Volcano National Park, Zarcero, Jaco Beach, and the famous Monteverde Cloud Forest (3 hours away).

Curacao

For the Midwest, there’s no better time than winter to escape the frigid weather. While Chicago is beaming now, we all know “The Windy City” lives up to its name come winter.

What better place to escape to than a vibrant Caribbean island?

Curacao is arguably the trendiest Caribbean getaway right now with a blend of multiple cultures, Willemsted’s color-wheeled townscape perhaps brighter than their own turquoise waters, and pristine beaches that feel untouched by the masses unlike numerous fellow islands.

Rather than booking the same-o same-o in Montego Bay or Nassau, Curacao offers a more authentic experience with hidden coves, rich culture, and more sense of adventure rather than whittling away seaside with a drink in hand.

The food scene is spot on, the capital is vibrant and UNESCO-protected, and waters couldn’t be any clearer for snorkelers and divers, especially Playa Piskado where you can swim with sea turtles.

Like most Caribbean islands, there’s a wide selection of beachfront stays to choose from — but Curacao is yet be overrun with flashy eyesores stealing the shine away from coastal charm.

American’s new route to Curacao is set to launch December 6th with Saturday-only service.

St. Maarten

Whether you’re a Game of Thrones fan or a culture buff who fantasizes about visiting a faraway land with centuries-old castles, a timeless townscape, and what have you, Dubrovnik is probably on your Europe bucket list.

Croatia’s top tourist destination, and the real-life Kings Landing, for those who are familiar with the HBO hit series, it is truly something straight out of a movie.

Gorgeous as it may be, however, it’s far from being the idyllic fairytale scene you envision, especially during summer, when millions of people flock into its narrow, uphill streets, and a city center hotel can run you up between an already-costly $199-a-night, and a whopping $675.

Not even kidding.

The good thing is, Dubrovnik is not Croatia’s only medieval wonder by the Adriatic Sea, and whether you’re here for the Old World allure, or simply the GoT vibes, there are 3 alternative destinations that tick all of the boxes, and are more offbeat and cheaper to visit.

Ready to beat the crowds?

Ston

We’re sure you’ve heard of the Great Wall of China, the largest defensive system in the world, but did you know Croatia has its own Great Wall, a short one-hour drive north of Dubrovnik?

When exploring the idyllic Dalmatian Coast, it’s easy to bypass Ston altogether: it doesn’t commonly feature on mainstream travel brochures, and on top of that, it’s a tiny village of around 2,500 inhabitants—that being said, its fortified Old Town puts Dubrovnik’s to shame.

Not only is it criss-cobbled with stone-paved streets, and filled with the typical red-roofed stone houses, it is home to a 4.3 mile-long wall, erected in the Middle Ages to protect not only Ston itself, but the entire region, including the city of Dubrovnik.

Like in China, you can walk this wall (not all of it, but at least half of its length). It’s a moderately challenging hike that takes roughly an hour and offers views of historical salt pans, the scenic Mali Ston bay, and vineyards.

Now, if you’re used to Dubrovnik prices, you’re likely to let out a big sigh of relief here:

Local restaurants usually serve main courses ranging from €10 to €15 per person (roughly $11.40—$17) and if staying the night, a double room for 2 adults will cost you $41.50 each.

For moderately-priced seafood, a cozy ambiance, and unmatched bay views, add Bota Sare Restaurant & Oyster Bar to your list.

Korčula Town

Next up, we’re taking a 1h40—2h ferry from Dubrovnik to Korčula Island, which lies just off the Croatian mainland, or more specifically, its small capital Korčula Town.

Often dubbed a ‘Little Dubrovnik‘, it too is guarded by walls, which almost completely encircle the small peninsula it sits on, and it’s primarily renowned for having a preserved 15th-century architecture, and a quieter, more laid-back feel compared to its famous sibling.

You can stroll the picture-perfect cobbled streets, which are lined with centuries-old dwellings and merchant shops, as well as family-owned eateries serving  ćevapi, and other Croatian delicacies for around $10.

If you fancy trying a ćevapi burger, head to Curioso, a well-rated restaurant in the Old Town that’s been amassing rave reviews lately.

As you will notice when exploring, crowding is less intense here, considering Korčula’s geographical location, and the longer ferry journey from Dubrovnik, and most of the tourist attractions can be visited without long lines.

Think St. Mark’s Cathedral, in the heart of the Old Town, and a landmark church bearing Gothic and Renaissance elements, or the Marco Polo House—according to local tradition, the famous Venetian explorer was born here.

Trogir

As you journey onward up the coast, 161 miles north of the Dubrovnik-Neretva tourism hotspot, and past the bustling resort city of Split, you’ll hit the tiny, medieval town of Trogir.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, much like its southern counterpart, Trogir is fortified by medieval walls, and if we’re looking for the easiest way to describe it, picture a cobbled maze flanked by skinny, ocher-colored edifices, whose twists and turns always seem to lead to a central plaza.

This central plaza is bordered by terrace cafes, where Mediterranean food is served at reasonable prices—Franka, in particular, has delicious beetroot and truffle risotto and homegrown wine—and is dominated by a Romanesque cathedral.

The belfry resembles St. Mark’s Campanile in Venice, and that’s not merely incidental: like much of Dalmatia, Trogir was once under the control of the floating city.

As you stroll around town, which can get moderately busy in the summer months, though nowhere as busy as the neighboring Split, much less the infamous ‘King’s Landing’, don’t miss out on Riva, or the ‘Trogir Promenade’:

This loop walk along the ancient walls is lined with palm trees and cafes, and there’s never a dull moment if one of your favorite pastimes is people-watching, especially with the Russian-owned hyper-yachts moored along its extension.

For museums, check out Cipiko Palace, a Gothic-Renaissance gem just facing the cathedral, and on the outer edge of the fortifications, there’s a 15th-century Venetian stronghold, Kamerlengo, that’s open to the public.

Staying overnight in Trogir?

Rates for double rooms (with balcony), outside the citadel, start at an acceptable $91 for 2 adults, and an Old Town guest room, stone-walls, Old World allure and all, is not that much more expensive, costing you $59 each in summer.

But the real star? The food! Pull up a plastic stool at a street-side stall and feast on pho, banh mi, or bun cha for just a couple of bucks. Accommodation ranges from super-cheap hostels to surprisingly luxe boutique hotels that cost a fraction of what you’d pay elsewhere. ^{From the dramatic karst landscapes of Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh to the historic charm of Hoi An and the Mekong Delta’s waterways, Vietnam serves up a rich tapestry of experiences without demanding a fortune.}

Hungary

The Philippines

If island hopping through paradise on a shoestring budget sounds like your kind of trip, look no further than the Philippines in 2025. With over 7,000 islands, you’re spoiled for choice, from the dramatic landscapes of Palawan (El Nido and Coron) to the surf breaks of Siargao and the unique Chocolate Hills of Bohol.

What makes it affordable? Delicious and cheap Filipino food (hello, adobo and lechon!), incredibly low costs for domestic flights and ferries between islands, and a wide range of accommodation, from basic beach huts for a few dollars to comfortable resorts that won’t cost the earth. The locals are known for their friendliness and English is widely spoken, making it easy to navigate. It’s tropical bliss without the financial stress.

Home to ancient cities with origins lost to time and some of the most picturesque beaches in the world—as well as the most crowded—the Mediterranean seems to be on everyone’s bucket list for the upcoming summer.

Before you go ahead and book an overpriced Amalfi trip that will be anything from relaxing, with all the jammed traffic and tour buses, there’s a lesser-known resort town in the Eastern Med you should know about, offering sunny weather and Old World vibes.

Unlike all your usual tourism hotspots, however, this one actually fits your budget:

Welcome To The Turkish St Tropez

A mid-size city in the Aegean Coast of Turkey, Bodrum is an incredibly-popular summer destination for Europeans and Turks alike, though many Americans might not be all-that-familiar with it.

Think of it as the Turkish Saint-Tropez, with the same myriad of beach bars, luxury villas overlooking azure waters, and the Instagrammable historic center, except it’s somewhat less boujee (and usually half the price).

According to TIME magazine, these are some of the reasons why Bodrum is one of the top 100 ‘greatest places’ to visit in 2025.

The experts at TIME go further in comparing Bodrum to the Greek islands, which lie just offshore—the trendy Greek holiday island of Kos, for instance, is clearly visible from the Turksih mainland, and a short 51-minute ferry away.

In their own words, Bodrum rivals the ‘decadence’ of the Greek islands, which in recent years, have been overrun by tourists, and for the most part, feel anything but authentic, with the ever-fluctuating population, the seasonal workers, and cruise crowds.

Though Bodrum is no hidden gem itself, it can feel less tumultuous.

A Picture-Perfect Old Town Yet To Be Ruined By Overtourism

The Old Town shares many similarities with Greece, with stone-paved pathways lined with chalk-white dwellings and bougainvillea-clad street cafes.

Unlike Mykonos, Santorini and the like, however, you’re still able to find dirt-cheap ceramic souvenirs and leather sandals in the local bazaar, and gorge on sumptuous three-course dinners by the marina for around $36.80.

If you’re fine with kebabs and other popular takeout foods, that’s a surprisingly-affordable $5.26—$10.52.

Some of our favorite cheap eats in Bodrum include Levant Ocakbasi, for their ‘adana’ kebab, Hadik Balik, a laid-back bistro, famous for their grilled filets and freshly-caught fish, and Mirzaoğlu, everyone’s go-to bakery for that honey-soaked baklava.

Gorgeous White-Sand Beaches

We won’t lie, the beaches in Bodrum do tend to get busy in the warmer months, particularly between June and August, the peak season for travel, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find a hidden spot or two for escaping the crowds.

For that, you’ll want to walk right past Bodrum Beach, the closest ones to the Old Town, unless you’re here for the wide range of amenities and windsurfing.

Take a taxi out to Yahşi instead, an 18-minute drive from town, and a long stretch of soft, clean sand bathed by turquoise waters, away from the shouting children and city sounds.

Further out even, in Aspat, there’s a less developed sandy strip lining a quiet, shallow stretch of the Aegean Sea.

If you’re looking to party Mykonos-style, and you don’t mind splurging a little (for Turkey’s standards), Türkbükü has a big choice of beach bars, including a well-frequented Reana, serving food and drinks all day long, and Miam, where a drink will cost you roughly $11.

For a more family-friendly experience, you can always opt for Camel Beach: be it riding camels (hence the name), paddle-boarding, snorkeling, or taking boat tours of the coastline, there’s plenty to keep you and the kids busy.

Just make sure you get there early in summer to get a good spot.

A Plethora Of Ancient World Wonders

Bodrum is not just picture-perfect alleyways and beaches!

To our fellow culture buffs out there, it is home to a landmark Castle of St. Peter, which dominates the yacht-lined harbor, and was built by an order of knights in the 15th-century.

On the outskirts of Bodrum, near the ruins of the ancient Greek city of Halicarnassus, Bodrum’s precedessor, there’s a partially-preserved, 2,400-year-old theater overlooking the sea.

It used to seat 13,000 spectators, and despite no longer being functional, it continues to command a breathtaking panorama of Bodrum in the distance.

A quick stop on the way, don’t forget to check out Myndos Gate, an equally-ancient structure that formed part of Halicarnassus’ fortifications, and the site of an important battle between Alexander the Great and the Persians.

Fascinating as those may be, Bodrum’s most famous historical monument is the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, not due to its impressive state of preservation—it’s mostly lying in ruins—but because it is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Built in 350 BC, it was formerly celebrated for its intricate design, sheer scale, and monumental tombs.

Oh, and like most things in Bodrum, the Mausoleum costs a bargain to visit: 129 Turkish liras, or approximately $3.41.

Delta has doubled down on that fact by announcing a plethora of exciting new flights to not one, not two, not three, but seven stunning international beach destinations!

Some are household names, while others are still rising in the ranks. But hey, that just means fewer crowds to deal with.

Bottom line — there’s no doubt you can go wrong with any of these paradisal getaways.

Think crystal-clear waters, flashy resorts, and all the delights Mexico and the Caribbean have to offer, whether you’re visiting to indulge in endless cocktails at the swim-up bar or simply looking to escape the city grind wasting away in a beachside hammock.

No matter your preference, Delta has got you covered with their latest launch, which is slated for later this year.

Delta’s New Flights To Caribbean Islands

Who wants to go to the Caribbean?! Well, that’s probably a dumb question. Who would say no?

Delta is giving you more options as if the Caribbean wasn’t teeming with enough postcard island getaways.

According to Airline Geeks, Delta is adding 11 new routes, but not all are to some of the prettiest beaches imaginable.

No offense to Los Angeles, but Santa Monica needs a bit of a cleanup, don’t ya think?

The Caribbean, however, is brimming with white-sand hideaways from notable names such as Punta Cana, which Delta is also increasing capacity from Atlanta.

But let’s get down to the nitty-gritty — the 5 proper Caribbean destinations Delta will be serving with new flights (don’t worry; we’ll get to Mexico in a sec).

Let’s start with some Caribbean up-and-comers, such as St. Vincent and the Grenadines, which, as just announced, is breaking all-time visitor records, and Grenada, which has seen 26 straight months of continued growth.

Both these pristine, lesser-known island retreats will soon be served by Atlanta.

Now for the rest, with more notable names:

• Minneapolis to Nassau, Bahamas
• Detroit to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands (check out American’s historic new flight too!)
• Atlanta to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
• Boston to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands

Delta’s New Routes To Mexico’s Icons

You know where this is going…

As if Cancun needed any more connections, Delta just said “hold my cerveza“.

Americans’ favorite international beach vacation spot is becoming even easier to reach with a new flight from 3 U.S. cities:

• Nashville
• Kansas City
• Indianapolis

But, here’s the kicker: the new Cancun routes will only be offered on Saturdays, so plan accordingly. Although, Detroit lucked out a bit with additional flights being added to their already existing route.

When you land, don’t forget to take the new $7 shuttle to avoid the ongoing feud between taxis and Ubers.

Scroll back up and notice I said ‘icons’ — plural. That’s right; Delta is also launching a new flight to Cabo.

Austin is the big winner for this new route with daily service to Baja’s numero uno paradise, but let’s hope the airfare doesn’t top the resort rates — yikes!

While Cabo is undoubtedly the crown jewel of Baja, and always one of Mexico’s most visited cities, you might be surprised to know Cabo has also become more of a gateway to nearby beach destinations, such as the small coastal town of Todos Santos with vibrant culture and posh stays, or La Paz, a bigger city known for epic seafood cuisine and one of Latin America’s most beautiful beaches, Balandra.

All of Delta’s new routes are slated to launch December 20, 2025.

Too often, regular Joes and Janes miss out on Mexico’s wonders because they’re glued to mainstream news trashing our southern neighbor despite statistics clearly showing the vast majority of Americans vacationing south of the border make it back home unscathed after the trip of a lifetime.

News just dropped that the first-ever U.S. flight will soon fly to one of Mexico’s safest destinations — a truly stunning destination that’s yet to be discovered by even seasoned travelers since it’s been harder to reach.

Set north of Puerto Vallarta and stretching over 200 miles lies the sprawling region of vibrant coastal towns and secluded beaches of Riviera Nayarit, where a new international terminal has been in the works for years.

Rumors have swirled regarding who will be the first U.S. destination connecting to this largely undiscovered sprawl of beaches and hidden gems and the first airline to skid the runway—and now we have answers to both.

Fly Nonstop From Los Angeles To Tepic This Summer

West Coasters are the lucky winners for the first-ever U.S. route to Riviera Nayarit. The 4th most connected U.S. airport is now adding yet another awesome international destination to its already impressive portfolio of routes.

The announcement is such a big deal the State Governor of Riviera Nayarit is the one who broke the news. Gavin Newsom was too busy combing his hair…

Slated to launch July 16, 2025, travelers can already purchase tickets online for the monumental flight.

Surely more U.S.-based airlines will join the chat at some point, but for now, Mexico-based Volaris is the only option.

For what it’s worth, I really enjoy flying with them because of their frequent sales to score cheap flights across Mexico (if only the pesky TUA tack on the bottom line!).

As of this posting, one-way tickets are as low as $85 in August. See what I was saying about those sale prices?

The New Tulum?

In a sense, travelers could look at Riviera Nayarit as “the new Tulum” as far as becoming Mexico’s new hotspot.

Just how travelers formerly had to fly into Cancun and make the hours-long trek south, it’s been the same way for Riviera Nayarit’s cluster of beaches lining the coast as you would have to fly into Puerto Vallarta, which is also why a new highway was built.

But here is the kicker: Tepic is not at all a beach town. So, if you want to experience real Mexico, you can easily make time to explore a timeless city before hitting up the coast.

In fact, Tepic is one of Mexico’s most underrated cities. Dating back 500 years, it’s stood the test of time with remarkable landmarks like Catedral de Tepic amongst picturesque plazas.

Not only is it a delight to explore for photo-ops, it’s safe and super affordable. Should you want to make a day trip or weekend getaway, charming Hotel Saint George is only $47 and walkable to the aforementioned cathedral and numerous cozy cafes and authentic eateries.

But let’s be real. You didn’t lose 5 lbs. and pack your swimwear to show off in Tepic; you’re eying the coast.

Best Beaches To Visit: What You’ll Discover In Riviera Nayarit

With over 200 miles to cover, there are definitely hidden gems we’ll miss here. That being said, there are some notable rising beach towns creeping up on travelers’ radars.

Costa Canuva:

Costa Canuva is the perfect example of why Tepic’s new terminal will benefit the region. This well-kept secret is an understated resort town, but it’s stayed hush-hush because it’s been quite a journey from Puerto Vallarta.

Aside from postcard beaches, Costa Canuva boasts underrated luxury hotels, a PGA-standard golf course, and miles of nature trails.

Rincon De Guayabitos:

If you’re looking for a place where you can leave your belongings on the beach without a bandito snatching your beach bag, Rincon De Guayabitos is just the place.

This small coastal town is safe, welcoming, and down right beautiful with calm waters and even a hot spring to enjoy.

Punta Mita:

I’m gonna leave this one brief as a tease since I’m traveling to Punta Mita next weekend.

This star-studded peninsula is laden with luxurious resorts and stunning beaches. Vacationers in Puerto Vallarta have found themselves skirting this way to avoid the crowds and in turn driving a new resort haven, which draws curious travelers like me who’ve heard of Punta Mita’s wonders through the grapevine.

An airline you may not be quite as familiar with has taken over U.S. skies as the ‘most reliable’ carrier in the country.

Given my awful experiences with budget airlines lately, that’s quite a feat, but not one to worry about with Avelo Airlines.

One of America’s newest additions, taking its first flight in Spring 2021, the low-cost carrier has rapidly expanded since its inception, starting off solely as a domestic carrier and now offering travelers affordable fares to some of the most sought-after international beach destinations.

Recently announcing a fourth international flight to one of the Caribbean’s most popular resort destinations, Avelo’s passport-required portfolio now totals 4 premiere getaways for an epic vacation.

Avelo Now Flies To 4 Amazing Caribbean Destinations

As the official first day of spring is right around the corner, there’s no better time to plan a Caribbean escape.

The downside is airlines know this and often jack up the prices knowing you’ll pay it regardless.

Well, that’s the beauty of budget airlines, especially when they’re as reliable as Avelo and not fighting bankruptcy or removing the only enticing perk that’s built a loyal team of travelers for decades (ahem, Southwest).

North Carolinians must Raleigh love vacations because this underrated southern city is quickly becoming a major springboard to some of the world’s top vacation spots.

Already offering flights to Punta Cana and Montego Bay, now Raleigh has landed Nassau as Avelo’s latest Caribbean addition.

The Bahamian capital is gleaming with colorful streets, gorgeous white sand beaches, and towering resorts with equal parts relaxation and entertainment for the whole family.

Travelers will have to wait until summer to take advantage of the new Nassau route as it’s slated to launch June 11, 2025, with two flights per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

However, tickets are already on sale online with promotional fares as low as $84 one-way.

I’m a huge fan of low-cost airlines.

Ultra-low-cost carriers may not offer any frills, but they do give us the opportunity to explore new destinations on a very tight budget.

Frontier has demonstrated this perfectly this week by offering flights on its newest routes for as little as $29!  

Frontier is officially the fastest-growing airline in Atlanta thanks to a huge expansion that has seen departures increase from the hub by 40% year on year.  

Much more interestingly, this means that they’ve added new flights to new destinations from Atlanta. And these two overseas hotspots stand out from the crowd.  

New Flight From Atlanta to Aruba 

From May 24, Frontier will introduce a new weekly service from Atlanta to Oranjestad in Aruba. This will operate every Saturday throughout the summer months.  

The advertised rates for this route are ‘from $69’ each way, so how much will flights really cost?  

The cost of a return, nonstop flight for one traveler flying on June 14 and returning on June 21 is $309.

This is for a basic fare ticket which doesn’t include a carry on bag, checked bag, or the option to choose your own seat.  

If you want to add these extras then, as is the case with most low-cost airlines, these will be subject to an extra charge.  

Why Visit Aruba?  

There’s so much to love about Aruba. It is famed for its stunningly beautiful beaches, abundance of water sports, hiking in Arikok National Park, and laid-back vibes.  

Oranjestad is the main arrival point for visitors to Aruba, but its more than just a transport hub, it’s well worth exploring in its own right.

The city is famed for its brightly colored Dutch architecture and is a cultural melting pot of delicious foods and fun nightlife.  

It’s worth noting that Oranjestad is Aruba’s largest city as well as the main port of the island, so don’t be surprised to find that the streets are almost always busy and bustling with tourists.  

Want to get away to somewhere a little quieter? Head to the island’s western coast where the waters are warm and calm, but you’ll find fewer tourists here. Rodger’s Beach and Druif Beach are considered the two best beaches on this side of the island.  

New Flight From Atlanta to Honduras
 

From June 12, Frontier will add a new flight from Atlanta to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, to its schedule.  

This flight will operate three times a week, giving you more flexibility with the duration of your vacation. Frontier is advertising rates starting ‘from $59’ on this route.  

The cost of a return, nonstop flight for one traveler flying on June 17 and returning on June 24 is currently $243.  

Like the flight to Aruba, this is based on a basic fare ticket, but it’s worth noting that if you do want to take a carry on bag and to have the ability to choose your own seat then you can upgrade to the Economy Bundle for an additional $58. This includes carry on luggage and seat selection, but doesn’t include hold luggage.  

Why Visit San Pedro Sula?  

San Pedro Sula is located in the North of Honduas and is considered one of the country’s main transport hubs, acting a gateway to more obvious tourist attractions.

From here Copan, the Caribbean Coast, and the Bay Islands are all easily accessible.  

One of the closest beaches to San Pedro Sula and one of the best spots for travelers is the vast sands of Tela. Tela is famed for boasting the best beaches in Honduras and is an incredible scuba diving destination.  

Other attractions in Tela include the Lancetilla Botanical Garden, which is home to rare plant species from around the world, and the protected Punta Sal National Park, which is home to mangroves and coral reefs.  

While there’s so much to see and do, Tela is a great place to relax and unwind.
